- Blind
- A bet placed without seeing your cards, which costs half the usual chaal.
- Boot
- A forced ante that each player must place into the pot before the cards are dealt.
- Chaal
- The betting round after the initial boot where players can call, raise, or fold.
- Dealer
- The player (or virtual button) responsible for shuffling and distributing the cards.
- Deals Rummy
- A Rummy format played over a fixed number of deals, with the lowest total score winning.
- Drop
- The action of folding a hand, often incurring a penalty point in Rummy.
- First Drop
- A penalty applied when a player folds before seeing any cards in Points Rummy.
- Impure Sequence
- A straight flush that uses one or more jokers or wild cards to complete the run.
- Joker
- A designated card that can replace any other card to help form a meld.
- Meld
- A valid combination of cards, such as a sequence or a set, that can be declared.
- Middle Drop
- A higher penalty when a player folds after seeing some cards but before making a meld.
- Points Rummy
- A Rummy variant where each card has a point value and players aim to reduce their points to zero.
- Pool Rummy
- A Rummy game where players pool points and those exceeding a set limit are eliminated until one remains.
- Pot
- The total amount of chips wagered by all players that the winner takes after the showdown.
- Pure Sequence
- A straight flush made of three consecutive cards of the same suit, the highest‑ranking hand.
- Rake
- A small percentage of the pot that the platform keeps as a fee for hosting the game.
- Responsible Gaming
- Guidelines and tools, such as deposit limits and self‑exclusion, that help players gamble safely.
- Seen
- The option to view your cards, which requires a higher chaal than the blind bet.
- Set
- Three cards of the same rank but different suits, one of the basic winning combinations.
- Showdown
- The final stage where all remaining players reveal their cards and the best hand wins the pot.
- Side Show
- A request to compare your hand with the player next to you before the final showdown.
- Table Stakes
- The minimum and maximum amount a player can bet at a specific table.
- Teen Patti
- A popular Indian three‑card gambling game where players bet on the strength of their hand, similar to poker.
- Trail
- Three cards of the same rank, also called a set or three‑of‑a‑kind, the top hand in Teen Patti.
- Wild Joker
- A randomly selected card that acts as an extra joker in addition to the printed one.
